Casino Popular asks for nothing: there are no accounts, no newsletters and no forms on the site. A small amount of information is still recorded whenever a page is opened, and this notice says what it is, why it is kept and which levers you have over it.
Responsible party
The party responsible for that information is Lazuran Networks FZ-LLC, Building 15, Dubai Internet City, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, email [email protected].
What is recorded
- Server logs. The network address your connection comes from, a browser-and-device string, the slot or guide you opened, the page that sent you there and a timestamp. Their job is diagnosis and abuse prevention, and they are deleted on a rolling basis.
- Network protection. Traffic passes through Cloudflare, which filters attacks and may set its own security cookie when it needs to check a visitor.
- Visit counting. Whichever page you land on, casinopopular.com drops two cookies of
its own.
mz_vidcarries a random string that recognises the same browser when it comes back and expires after twelve months;mz_srcnotes how you arrived — a search, a link on another site, a typed address — and lapses after 30 days. Together they tell us which slot pages are read and where readers come from. - Operator links. When you follow a link that begins with
/go/, two more cookies are set for about 20 hours:mozbiz_session, which ties the click to an operator so a commission can be attributed, andXSRF-TOKEN, a security token. The operator’s site then sets cookies of its own under its own policy.
The site does not run Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Facebook Pixel or advertising networks, and we do not sell or rent information about visitors.
Your choices
Clearing or refusing cookies from your browser’s privacy menu does not stop the catalogue from working; the only difference is that a click to a casino may go unattributed. The Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 lets you find out what is held about you, have it put right or wiped, or object to its use — send that request to [email protected].
Where information goes
Logs and cookie records are held on servers outside South Africa by our hosting and network providers, under contracts that limit their use of the data to providing the service.
Changes
If what the site records changes, this notice is updated and re-dated.
